It showcases ideas, innovations of participants from acorss the country
A four-day health festival to showcase ideas and innovations got off to a glittering start here on Monday.
The first day saw participants from across the country. The festival is being organised by the State government, AP MedTech Zone and Elects Techomedia Pvt. Ltd.
The aim of the event is to improve the health status and quality of life of the people by focusing on health issues by reducing disease burden, creating an enabling environment, influencing direct and indirect health determinants such as nutrition, water, sanitation and other factors like education and employment.
Among others, Special Chief Secretary, Health, Medical and Family Welfare Poonam Malakondaiah, Advisor (Health) Jitendar Sharma and Collector Pravin Kumar were present.
On the inaugural day, hackathon and datathon were organised. The winners will be given prizes.
